Biography

Nikolay Karadjov

Whether he realize it or not, every artist is striving to achieve perfect harmony in the works he create.
Over the years the artist's efforts are to build own plastic system of principles, which he is following in the creative process

These principles evolve over time, changes in the artist's desire to be adequate and be in harmony with himself.

 

Born on august 8th 1950 in Malchika, Pleven region.
IIn 1975 he graduated from Art Academy, Sofia in painting.

 

 

E  X  H  I  B  I  T  I  O  N  S:

Since 1975 he has participated in many art exhibitions in Bulgaria, as well as in Netherlands, Russia, Portugal, Austria, Greece, Serbia, Mexico, Costa Rica and others.

He has been a member of the Bulgarian Union of Painters since 1979.

 

Karadjov has had one-man exhibition in:

Sofia - 1981

Lovetch - 1984

Riga Latwia -1986

Atarai Gallery Sofia - 1992

Lesedra Gallery Sofia - 1994

Aruid Gallery Ruse - 2005.

 

In 1982 he participated in Biennial of painting in Kostice Czechoslovakia.

In 1996 he participated in International Triennial of painting in Sofia.

In the period between 1994-1996 the artist has participated in exhibitions in Alberty Gallery, London.

Since 1997 the painter has been exhibiting his paintings in Galiardy Gallery, London.

 

Many of Nikolai Karadjov's paintings are owned by:

The Bulgarian National Art Gallery and also by galleries in Ruse, Pleven, Lovetch, Plovdiv, Pernik, Burgas, Kazanlak, Stara Zagora, Razgrad, Dobritch and others.
His art is to be seen in private collections in Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, Germany, Austria, USA, Belgium, England, Norway, Brazil, Venecuela, Netherlands and Turkey.

Nikolai Karadjov lives and works in Ruse.
